Performers: Greg Proops, Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles

Comments: After a brief break, Wednesday night "Too Hot" episodes made a return. Actually, I didn't think this one had much that an 8:30 Thursday time slot couldn't handle. What it does have is a more than ample amount of fun; the players look as if they're really enjoying themselves, and as always, Greg's presence seems to bring out the best in the others.

Notable Quote: "Oh, those frustrating banana peels! How do you get them off the banana?" - Colin in World's Worst

Press Conference: Greg, Wayne and Ryan interview Colin, who is the Tin Man announcing he and Dorothy have just had a child.
I think this game always stays pretty much on one level, humor-wise, though it's a fairly decent level. Colin is quick on the uptake here, but it's not surprising with the relative easiness of the quirk.

Hats: Greg and Wayne, Colin and Ryan give examples of the world's worst dating agency video.
Greg's boxing kangaroo puppet. Ryan's cockpit jokes. Wayne's party favor. And Colin giving up completely on a failed joke. This may have been what put the episode in the "Too Hot" category--and if it isn't the best round of Hats ever, it's close.

Multiple Personalities: Greg, Ryan and Colin are on a cruise on the S.S. Poseidon when it's hit by a tidal wave and capsizes. The captain's hat is John Wayne, the life saver is Liberace, and the telescope is Rain Man.
I was happy to see a return of this game, which usually involves Ryan's gut-busting John Wayne impersonation--watch him try to do John Wayne and Liberace at the same time! Greg and Colin are also both incredibly funny doing Rain Man--the latter's impression is almost scary. A great game.

Greatest Hits: Ryan and Colin introduce Songs of Retirement, sung by Wayne in the styles Destiny's Child, polka and metal.
Wayne's songs are not too impressive this time out, but good old Ry and Col go at each other here like a classic vaudeville act, and the result is sheer magic. Even before the game, the two are laughing with each other. And there was something I found interesting: Ryan's Rip Torn reference is ridiculous and nonsensical, and comes completely out of nowhere--in fact, it's very Colin-esque. But Colin takes it with a straight face, and cracks Ryan up later with exactly the same technique.

World's Worst: Greg, Drew, Colin and Ryan give examples of the world's worst self-help instructional videos.
Once again, Drew trips in this game--a fact Ryan makes fun of until Drew goes over and shoves him off the step, too. When it comes to actual jokes about the subject matter, Greg is terrific, but Colin takes the prize with his usual far-fetchedness. Well above average for the game, regardless of the fact that this theme was once used in the British series.
