Performers: Wayne Brady, Kathy Greenwood, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles.

Comments: Aired after The Drew Carey Show on a Wednesday night, this episode was billed as "too hot" for the regular 8 PM Thursday time slot--and it is. Every game goes beyond the series' normal boundaries of taste in one way or another. Nevertheless, there are laughs to be had, as long as you don't watch it over dinner.

Notable Quote: "You can hit me on the head--I haven't felt anything in 35 years!" - Ryan during the credits

Weird Newscasters: Colin is the anchor. Co-anchor Kathy is a trailer trash woman telling her ex-husband at home what a great lover her new boyfriend Colin is; sportscaster Wayne is a nerdy nearsighted teenager playing his first game of spin the bottle; Ryan is John Wayne who thinks the studio is coming under attack.
Colin's lines alone are enough to put this one in the "too hot" category. The high points of the game are Wayne once again flirting with Drew (I think the mints are Drew's new permanent desk fixture), and of course, Ryan's hilarious John Wayne impression. He tops himself here by trying to mount one of the cameras, in lieu of a horse.

Newsflash: Colin reports to Ryan and Kathy on scenes of people performing increasingly disgusting physical tricks.
I gave up trying to come up with an appropriate comment. I'm just curious why Kathy always gets the gross ones...

Party Quirks: Kathy is the host. Wayne is various celebrities getting slowly steamrolled; Colin suspects that people are not the gender they claim to be and is trying to find out for sure; Ryan is a hunky model in a photo shoot for the covers of romance novels.
You know it's a zinger when Colin reacts in that certain way to his quirk card; the amazing thing is that he never refuses. In this case, let's just say that he keeps his hands--and the censors--unbelievably busy. It's a shocker, but it's a cut above the average in laughs, if only because of everyone's reactions to being "handled" by Colin--especially Ryan, who gives the distinct impression that his best friend may not have been so gentle with him after all.

Show-Stopping Number: Ryan, Colin and Wayne break into song during a scene set in a post office.
This is a very odd, very silly game, yet in a strange way it works; the guys tackle it with a surprising amount of energy, at least. Initially, it may not seem like it belongs in a "hot" episode--but just wait for Ryan's uncensored reference to the previous game.

World's Worst: Wayne, Drew, Colin and Ryan give examples of the world's worst person to share a lifeboat with.
Sadly, the episode's mixed bag of outrageousness ends on a very disappointing note. The theme is almost a repeat of the previous season's "worst person to be stranded on a desert island with", and Drew brings it to a halt by going simply too far, even for this episode.

Credits: Ryan reads as John Wayne rounding up his posse because they're under attack.
